The European #LEAF project is moving forward with a clear goal: to promote more sustainable and healthier lifestyles within the university community by reducing the impact of climate change through education and daily action.
AIJU is the organization responsible for developing an app for Android and iOS that will allow students and university staff to:
🔹 Record their habits and calculate their individual carbon footprint
🔹 Visualize their impact in terms of CO₂ emissions (in Kg)
🔹 Receive personalized recommendations and challenges to gradually reduce their footprint
This tool is part of the project’s educational framework, aiming to transform small everyday actions into real changes in the fight against climate change.
The latest consortium meeting was held at AIJU on September 2–3 2025, with the participation of Eskişehir Technical University and Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, where progress was made on optimizing and validating the app before its launch.
